Part-Time Administrative Assistant
Living Sky Farms is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a highly organized, tech-savvy professional who thrives in a fast-paced, diverse environment. As the backbone of our daily operations, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our customers 20-25 hours each week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations, including scheduling, email correspondence, and document management.
- Utilize platforms such as Shopify to manage online orders and customer inquiries, ensuring a seamless shopping experience.
- Engage with our community through Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram), creating a warm friendly, and supportive online presence.
- Utilize Google Suite for efficient internal communication, document creation, and data organization.
- Create visually appealing content with Canva for social media posts, promotional materials, and other marketing efforts.
- Solve problems proactively, addressing any customer concerns with empathy and efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with our team to support marketing campaigns, events, and product launches.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
- Comfortable navigating and utilizing Shopify, Meta, Google Suite, and Canva.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Exceptional organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Part-Time Grain Milling & Packaging
We're on the lookout for a dedicated Grain Milling and Packaging Assistant who shares our passion for whole, healthy foods and is ready to contribute to our mission of bringing the highest quality grain products to tables nationwide, working approx. 15-20 hours each week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently operate grain milling machinery to produce various grain products and fresh-milled flours.
- Consistently lift and move heavy weight (up to 50 lb bags) throughout the day.
- Accurately weigh, package, and label grain products in preparation for distribution.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and milling environment.
- Adhere strictly to food safety policies and protocols to ensure product quality and cleanliness.
- Contribute to inventory management and tracking, ensuring accurate records and stock levels.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance operations and product quality.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Is physically capable of lifting and moving heavy weights (50lbs) consistently.
- Possesses strong organizational skills for maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.
- Demonstrates a keen attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Has a basic understanding of, or willingness to learn, food safety practices and standards.
- Works well in a team environment, with a positive attitude and a willingness to help wherever needed.
- Is eager to learn and grow within the holistic nutrition and sustainable agriculture industry.
