Cranberry Granola

Delicious Cranberry Granola makes a great start to any day. It also doubles as a nutritious, filling snack anytime! Pour some in a bowl and enjoy with fresh milk, or delight in the crunch all on its own as a quick bite between meals.

INGREDIENTS:

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Heat oil, brown sugar and honey in a saucepan over medium heat until sugar is dissolved, then stir in cinnamon.
  3. In a large bowl, combine oats, almonds, flax and sunflower seeds, then add oil mixture. Stir well.
  4. Spread in a shallow parchment-lined baking dish and bake 20 minutes.
  5. Stir in cranberries and bake 10 more minutes or until lightly browned. Mixture will firm as it cools. Break into chunks and serve or store cooled.
